1. Any offensive material outside of RP will be dealt with harshly. If it's something you wouldn't say in public, then don't say it here either. 2. Treat each user with respect and how you would want to be treated. 3. Do not argue with the staff and listen to their instructions, without them, I:FA wouldn't exist. 4. Do not advertise for other roleplays outside of the Ads board. 5. Please keep threads in the correct boards. 6. There is a set limit of staff at a time, begging to be a staff member or fishing for promotions is automatically going to get you discluded from ever being considered as one in the future. 7. Save the drama for private messages, keep whatever happens in PMs in the PMs. 8. Just because we allow ERP doesn't mean we're a porn site, mature topics stay in the 18+ boards. 9. If you have complaints about someone breaking rules, please, don't confront them or make a scene, take it to the staff and it will be handled accordingly.

1. No one likes a thief, don't steal other people's OCs. 2. We are a paragraph/semi-literate RP site, that means put effort into your posts. No one-liners. 3. Characters that are not related or married shouldn't have the same last name, please check the taken names pages to confirm if a name is being used yet or not. 4. I:FA is a 18+ RP site, there are topics dealt with that you may find triggering or offensive. We ask that ANY sexual/suggestive activity what-so-ever be kept to the RNS board. 5. Insta-killing, god-moding, power-playing, metaplaying and retconning are all unacceptable forms of RP. 6. Characters are completely allowed to have healing powers but this doesn't mean they can just automatically heal severe injuries in the middle of a fight, be fair to the other person. 7. 'Mopey RPs' as they are killed, are RPs in which usually someone's character is begging for attention or a partner. These threads are not allowed on I:FA and will be deleted on sight. 8. Site-wide plots MUST be approved by the head admins before you can proceed. 9. A character is allowed a maximum of 2 powers, there are extremely strong characters on I:FA. If your character has an incredibly strong power, please, be reasonable and fair with how you use it. 10. You cannot kill another person's character without their specifically given permission. ( If you're ever unsure if you think something might be too OP, don't be afraid to ask staff!)

No. Inhumans can be born from anyone who carries the 'X' gene, while it was rare to possess it earlier on in human life as it took centuries to evolve; the advent of the nuclear age sped up the process. Rapid mutation occurred and thus created several Inhumans who were then able to pass on the 'X' gene to their children. Both human males and females can carry the dormant X gene and then pass it onto their children who may or may not develop abilities from it. The X gene can sometimes remain dormant for years but typically it appears earlier on in life in-between the ages of 12-14. Heightened emotional stress and puberty have been shown to be the most likely causes of making the X gene appear in an attempt to protect itself from outside forces. As far as research has gone, the only species shown to be able to carry and survive with the X gene are humans.

Inhumans don't differ too much from humans emotionally and mentally but occasionally, gene X's effects can be severe enough to the point that the Inhuman's form is physically mutated as well. Though physical mutations are often rare and can even be fixed with surgeries, should the person have enough money to pay and find a doctor willing to help. Inhumans are widely believed to be immortal by many and while this is the case for an exceptional few, most will live to be around 600 or 700. This is due to the fact that the X gene greatly strengthens the Inhuman immune system, making it nearly impossible for them to fall ill to things humans would or even suffer the same dietary conditions or health problems that a human would later on in life. Most of the time, an Inhuman's age won't even begin to show until they near 500 to 600 years in life so there is no real way of telling just how old an Inhuman is.

Homosuperior is the scientific name given by the government to these individuals, though the slang term that the public uses is what will most often be heard, 'Inhuman'. It was at first intended to be a hateful term before the Inhumans took to it and began using it with pride to refer to themselves. Inhumans are the genetically superior cousin of the human, the next stage in evolution. Scientific evidence shows they have lived since the beginning of time. The reason they have been received with such mixed views all around the world factors from the fact that their mutated genes have given them unnatural abilities. Some minor, being able to tap into the thoughts of others while some hold the very power of the universe in their genes. While humans argue over if the Inhumans are to be trusted, the Inhumans themselves wage war with each other. There are mixed crowds, those who claims themselves as Inhuman supremacists and those who desire to live out a peaceful co-existence with the human race.

X-Men is primarily what inspired Injustice, infact, you'll find a couple of X-Men characters right here on the site! Other comic movies have also been used for inspiration along the way but X-Men is stil, the primary source for Injustice.

Firstly, hello and welcome to I:FA! If you're new, you'll want to sign up on the website and forum, read the rules thoroughly and then you can get started on making your character. After making your character, select from one of the three groups for them to join, Initiative, Regime or Neutral. Once submitting the application, it should be accepted when an admin sees it and then you're free to start RPing.

The RNS board is where all 'mature' RPs take place. In otherwords, ERP aka sex scenes take place on the RNS board and as such it is 18+ If you are NOT 18+, please don't ask for access to the RNS board.

The Initiative is the 'light-hearted' side of I:FA, they're dedicated to making peace with humanity and striving for equality with the humans. Initiative members rarely use hostility, they're diplomatic and will use words first. They're strictly against using their abilities against humans unless in a life or death situation. Unlike the Regime, they welcome not just Inhumans but humans into their ranks as well, so long as they believe in the goal of equality. The Regime is the more 'dark-hearted' side of I:FA, they believe that Inhumans are superior to humans. These inhumans typically had rough past lives that have led them to be distrustful and resentful of humanity. They believe the Initiative is naive and use any means necessary to achieve their goals. They intelligently plan attacks on humans regularly, trying to enforce Inhuman superiority. The Neutral are simply inhumans or humans that have chosen no side in the conflict.
